Last winter, when I read about the release of Food Rules, the new book by Michael Pollan, I cried for twenty whole minutes. Why KalaLea? you ask. Picture this, a well known, food author and profound journalist writes a book similar to the Why Did I Eat That? mini-novel I had been creating for well over a year. As you can see by this recommendation, I’m over it.
The release of Food Rules merely confirmed that I was on the right track and that there is a market for easy-to-digest content that offers guidance for those of us curious about having an awesome relationship with food. This year, Mr. Pollan is taking it a step further by including illustrations in an expanded edition — again getting too close for comfort to the W.D.I.E.T. model but I’m okay. Truth is, I’ve read all of his books and you should too!
