meditate daily

It’s been three years since I had this much time on my hands which means no excuses when it comes to meditating. Every morning when I wake, I practice a combination of reiki and meditation. And for the last 30 days, I’ve been listening to this guided healing meditation by Kelly Howell at bed time. I’m usually fast asleep before it ends. Meditation is awesome for many reasons. It totally chills me out and is a great reminder that everything is going to be just fine. If time isn’t on your side, commit to meditating 1 minute for the first day then add another minute each day for one month. The goal is to clear your head of petty thoughts or negative feelings, to quiet the inner chatter and work towards being a more compassionate and aware human being. More on meditation below:

Years ago, I participated in a FREE 10 day Vipassana meditation retreat. Tough stuff but life altering. Planning to go again this year or next. There are centers all over the world. Did I mention it’s FREE? Silence is sacred and golden.
