buckwheat grits

Buckwheat is protein and Vitamin B rich, effective for treating diarrhea, it cleans and strengthens the intestines, reduces cholesterol and blood pressure, strengthens the capillaries and blood vessels, plus is great in treating poor circulation. Rutin, a bioflavonoid found in buckwheat is the healing culprit. Rutin is also an antidote against x-rays and other forms of radiation.

What a wonderful Wednesday! Last night after shooting the next recipe, we photographed today’s breakfast:

– cucumber and tomato salad (with a sprinkle of *xv oo, teeny bit of Bragg’s apple cider vinegar, dried chives, & fresh black pepper)
– 5 slices of Raclette cheese
– one slice of raisin and fennel semolina bread with raw honey on half

a healthier breakfast

It’s taken me many years to figure out breakfast. Years ago, I ate boxed cereal, donuts, or toast with sugar and cinnamon. Primarily because it was quick but I now realized I simply didn’t know anything else existed.

Redwood Hill Farm Yogurt
