Greetings Folks!

First, VERY sorry about sending 2 messages today.  Also, there was problem with last week’s post link so if you had trouble accessing it, it can be found here: http://wdiet.net/2017/01/words-are-powerful

How are you feeling? I mean it, stop for a second and check in with yourself. How are you feeling at this very moment? Rested, sleepy, motivated, apathetic, hopeful, happy, full, lonesome, bloated, empty, grateful, in pain, pain-free …?

Friday night: On the way to see a film, a friend and I passed by the Nolita neighborhood for snacks. While waiting for the food, I sauntered over to the sweets section and picked up a package containing one peanut butter cookie. The name of the brand is called This Chick Bakes. This particular cookie was gluten-free. 5 apples for 60 cents

by KalaLea on February 9, 2012 • Posted in News Personal Connections Travel

For nearly one week now, more than 1/3 of the police force in Bahia have been on strike (greve). For me, not much has changed with the exception of my new curfew but many hoods outside of the city are suffering. Yesterday, as I hopped on the Shopping Barra bus to make it home before dark, a woman promptly handed me her baby. She must have been 8 or 9 months old (the baby that is).
