What You Need:
1 bunch of kale (feel free to use 1/2 for less people)

eat lots of kale

If I had to pick one veggie to grow, I would choose kale. My love of kale began in 2003. It wasn’t love at first sight, more

give the gift of kale

by KalaLea on • Posted in Food Trends News The Act of Eating

This afternoon, my dear friend sent me a text message. He had left a cookie on the kitchen counter and wanted me to have it. I was working from homeΒ  so I could immediately go to the kitchen to see what kind of cookie it was. I’m not going to outline how to make beans for the 3rd time if you wish to add this tempeh recipe to your beans, check out the previous recipe, East Indian Black Eyed Peas

  • During my farm stay in Bahia, Brazil years ago, I read the 1977 book, How to Save Your Own Life by Erica Jong. The other day I came across the notes I copied from the book: 1) Renounce useless guilt 2) Don't make a cult of suffering 3) Live in the NOW (or at least the soon) 4) Always do the thing you fear the most; courage is an acquired taste like caviar 5) Trust ALL joy 6) If the evil eye fixes you in its gaze; look elsewhere 7) Get ready to be 87 years old. So splendid. Happy Free Friday!! #selflove #sunshine #books #1977 #ericajong #ridingthewave #onlyyoucansaveyourownlife
